This product is for use on most porous and non-porous surfaces. It is a white, matte primer that gives a fine white painting surface which provides a 'tooth' for the adhesion of acrylic, oil or tempura paints. It is ideal for applying over dark colours or surfaces when you want to basecoat in a lighter colour - resulting in fewer layers of paint. It can be thinned with water and used to prime canvas, wood, Masonite, fabric or cardboard. Gesso will not yellow or crack and it is waterproof.
